Endofill PD Swiss

Endofill PD is a radiopaque root canal filling material, typically available as a powder that is mixed with a liquid. It is designed for the permanent obturation of root canals, often used in conjunction with gutta-percha points. The material is formulated to be well-tolerated by periapical tissues and offers a combination of properties, including anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and germicidal actions. Before setting, Endofill PD is able to flow into fine irregularities within the root canal system, maintaining its therapeutic effects until it hardens completely. The final obturation is intended to be stable, without significant shrinkage or resorption over time, providing a tight seal to prevent microleakage and promote long-term success of the endodontic treatment.
